| The Project Background |

| Budehaven Day Nursery provides wrap around care for 24 children and babies. Located adjacent to there existing site of an ailing temporary building, the new purpose built facility will offer greater energy efficiency unparalleled by any other education or commercial buildings in the county for the price and allows free flow for the children to covered external play areas and secure open garden play areas. |
The building has a pitch roof which runs from east to west with a number of roof-lights in the northern roof pitch which allows natural daylight into the northern side of the building. The other roofs are flat with a sedum roof finish. Additionally we have positioned photovoltaic's on the southern facing roof.

| North facing high level windows to provide a constant level of natural light into main teaching space. Windows will be fully automated to provide natural stack effect ventilation. |
| The building incorporates an open planned teaching space with a wet play & sand play area as well as a high level storage and baby sleeping area. There will be corner window seating with views out to nearby field |
